At fifty-one, I know quite a bit less than I thought I did some years ago.  At least I am heading in the right direction!  My goal is, by the time I reach my grave, to truly appreciate this magnificent mystery – into which we have emerged from some unknown depth like bubbles, forever suspended between the vastness of the infinite within, and the infinite without.

       Danny Dolinger, folk-protest's unlikely guru; outrageous genius! better than a barrel-full of glitz and glammer… but, just to warn you, he doesn't look a thing like that picture! actually looking quite dapper and charming these days, not that the picture hasn't a certain appeal….
       David LaMotte, singer-songwriter, great mind, great heart! Spearheads many good works via a non-profit vehicle he formed with his wife, as his own way of flying under the radar and dispersing goods and services as a beautiful act of civil disobedience. This man knows how to get things done, and nobody on the planet has a more courageous heart. A true warrior! Check this site out to see how he does it, and listen to the sound you hear right before you fall head over heels in love!
       Andrew Calhoun: singer-songwriter with a vast depth and  breadth: this guy can do anything, well. he also owns and operates Waterbug Records for wandering minstrels and other venerated roadkills…I am always first, okay, one of the first in line when Andrew comes to town. He has a rare genius, although for him to think somebody may think that about him, may be more than he can bear…

Bed and Breakfast:

       The Atist's Loft, Julian, California: fabulous bed'n breakfas for artists seeking sanctuary in the mountains east of San Diego, just west of the plunge to the desert floor… Amazing place. Chuck and Nan have built this place with more than the required blood, sweat and tears. They were almost completely burned out in that awful fire several years ago. They are back in operation but it has been a long haul. Check this site out!
